Welcome to the Omaha Urban AHEC Programs Directory! The Omaha Urban Area Health Education Center can assist schools and other community-based organizations by coordinating presentations by current health professionals discussing their occupation. And if there is interest, we can coordinate field trips to health care facilities and more! We can also arrange for recruiters to discuss requirements for enrollment into local health careers programs to groups of all ages. This may include current health professions students from various disciplines meeting with small groups of students with similar interests to facilitate a mentoring relationship. The Omaha Urban AHEC also has the resources to assist with coordinating job shadowing opportunities for individuals or an entire group! See below for a directory of our current programs.
